The 2020 MARKETPLACE Governor’s Awards competition has bestowed TOP HONORS to Reynolds Packaging. This up and-coming company is doing BIG things and was recognized as outstanding Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year 2020.
Lisa Reynolds, CEO of Reynolds Packaging, and her husband, Kelly Reynolds, founder, president and COO of Reynolds Packaging, were honored to be recognized as an established business that has demonstrated business excellence in sales growth, product innovation, employment, and management. More than 80 nominations were received and evaluated.
Governor Tony Evers and Missy Hughes, Secretary and CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), congratulated them at MARKETPLACE, the Governor’s Conference on Diverse Business Development.
“To meet the challenges ahead of us, we must recognize how important inclusion, equity and diversity are to a strong economy,” Governor Evers said. “These awards showcase the important contributions that minority-owned, women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses make to our communities every day and how they are an important part of building an economy that works for all of us.”
“With growth comes mountains of challenges,” CEO Lisa Reynolds said. “We have learned to go with the flow and not take ourselves too seriously. When we purchased a facility in Green Bay last year, we did not expect to be running out of space within 12 months! We continue to learn to adapt and pivot in creative ways as we plan for expansion.”
